Editors have full responsibility for and authority over editorial content. Decisions are based on the manuscript's importance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on intellectual content, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Editors must protect the confidentiality of all material submitted to the journal and all communications with reviewers.
Editors recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest and delegate the decision to another editor.
